The Corona Club , the City of Del Rio, and the City of Acuña continue to provide a very safe, very fun environment to eat, drink, shop, and enjoy great live music . Make plans now to visit Del Rio and Acuña.
Located at Hidalgo 200, 2 blocks south of International Bridge No. 1 on the main street, the air conditioned Corona Club includes an outside patio with a dance floor, and a balcony above the bar on the outside creating additional space for music lovers. Moviegoers know the club, which was used as a location in the films El Mariachi and Desperado.
A longhorn oversees the bar, and the walls of the Corona Club are lined with photos of entertainment and rodeo celebrities. In the early Saturday morning hours of December 22, the club was full of holiday well wishers including the Texas couple, left; above, bottom row, from left, Francisco Lopez, Mike Reyes, Sarah Reyes, Jessica Gonzalez and Victor Gonzalez, all of Del Rio; and, also above, from left, Alberto Hernandez, Agustin Hernandez, Pedro Martinez and Casimiro Ontiveros.
